The Guardian, Volume 1, was produced by the yearbook staff at St. Michael Catholic High School and was printed by Jostens Inc., in Clarksville, TN.

The cover material is from the "Natural" collection, giving it a soft leather feel. It incorporates the St. Michael Catholic High School Cardinal logo burnished into the natural material. Burnishing is an application that delivers authentic, traditional results where custom dyes are used to burn a dark, rich pattern into the cover.
