David Offerle hired as Assistant Principal

St. Michael Catholic High School is delighted to announce the appointment of David Offerle as our new Assistant Principal. David has been an integral part of our school community, and his extensive experience in education and administration makes him an exceptional fit for this role.

David completed his master's degree in the summer of 1999 and began his teaching career at Cordova High School that August. With 26 years of teaching experience, including 15 years in the public school system in Memphis and two years at Fairhope High School, David brings a wealth of knowledge to our institution. Since 2016, he has been a valued member of the St.Michael faculty, teaching a range of mathematics courses from pre-algebra to AP Statistics and AP Calculus.

In addition to his teaching expertise, David has served as our Athletic Director since 2022, showcasing his leadership and dedication to our sports programs. He has been coaching basketball since the age of 18 and has a distinguished history in high school basketball coaching since 1996.

David's commitment to education and his passion for fostering a supportive and enriching learning environment are evident in everything he does. As he steps into the role of Assistant Principal, we are confident that he will continue to inspire both our students and staff, driving our mission forward with enthusiasm and integrity.
