St. Michael Catholic High School is pleased to announce the hiring of Mrs. Jenny Kopf to be its first “Director of Admissions and Advancement.” Kopf is currently an employment recruiting specialist at St. Thomas Hospital in Fairhope, Alabama.
Faustin Weber, principal of St. Michael, explains his choice: “Though we had many interesting and varied applicants for admissions director, we think that Mrs. Kopf’s current job, where she solicits and filters potential employees for a large hospital, then inducts them into the life of the organization, is quite similar to what we are asking her to do for us. She’ll be the “first face” of St. Michael to the families of Baldwin County, and it will be her job to answer their questions and make them feel comfortable here. I also became convinced, after getting to know her a bit better and talking with others, that her organizational and people skills make her a good fit in advancement. In both capacities, she’ll be an important leader for our young school.”
“I am honored and excited to represent St. Michael in these two roles,” Mrs. Kopf reflects. “I look forward to this new chapter of Catholic education in Baldwin County. I am also eager to begin meeting all our new families and children and working with everyone to grow St. Michael Catholic High School! “
Mrs. Kopf and her husband, David, have been married 23 years. They have three girls— Katie, age 18, a freshman at the University of Alabama, Kendall, 16, a sophomore at Fairhope High School, and Ann Grady, 11, a 5th grader at Christ the King. They are all members of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Fairhope, Al.
