Coach Peter Bezeredi was born in Baltimore, Maryland, but he grew up just outside Orlando, Florida. He graduated from Deltona High School in 1992, and then he played baseball at Seminole Community College in Sanford, Florida, for two years, earning an Associate of Business Administration degree. He continued his baseball career and education at Troy University for the next two years where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education with a Science Comprehensive. Furthermore, he earned a Masters in Sports Administration from United States Sports Academy.
Some of Coach Bezeredi’s baseball accolades include being drafted in the 22nd round of the 1993 MLB draft by the Montreal Expos and being selected as an All-Conference Player in both 1995 and 1996.
Coach Bezeredi has taught science at Tavares High, Robertsdale High, Foley High, and Baldwin County High. He has most recently taught AP Physics, Forensics, Environmental Science, and Earth and Space Science. Coach Bez has been a head coach at Tavares High School for one season, Baldwin County High School for seven seasons, and Robertsdale High School for ten years. He was named the 2011 6A State Coach of the Year by the AHSAA. His teams have won over 300 games in the 18 seasons he has been a head coach.
Coach Bezeredi has been married to his wife Mandy for 27 years. They have two children: Luke, who graduates from Mississippi State in May with a degree in Supply Chain Logistics, and Kate, who is a sophomore at Mississippi State majoring in Digital Marketing. In his free time, Coach Bez enjoys spending time with his family, going to the beach, and fishing.
