St. Michael Athletics is happy to annouce the hiring of Mrs. Emily Killion as our new Track and Field Pole Vaulting coach for the 2024 spring season. Mrs. Killion was born and raised in Fairhope, Alabama. She attended Christ the King Catholic School, then McGill-Toolen Catholic High School. At McGill, she was a five time varsity track and field athlete and a one time Pole Vault National Champion. After graduating McT, she received a full athletic scholarship to pole vault at Troy University where she majored in Exercise Science. While at Troy not only did she vault for the school, she was also President of Panhellenic, a Trojan Ambassador, and coached competitive gymnastics. She then continued her academic career at UAB where she received a masters in Exercise Physiology. She currently works part time at Sacred heart in Cardiology and lives in Daphne with her husband, Will Killion, and their dog, Dennie.
