The St. Michael chapter of the National Honor Society recognizes students for their outstanding scholarship (defined as having a cumulative weighted average of 3.70 and above), leadership, character and service. The purpose of having an NHS in a school setting is to encourage students to emulate these traits in the students who have been so recognized.
Students meeting the academic requirements are first eligible for consideration in the spring of their junior year, and then again in the fall of their senior year. They must apply within the stated deadlines.
