First Literary Magazine Coming Soon!

This year the Communications Team from the Journalism class at Saint Michael Catholic High School will publish its FIRST EVER literary magazine: Field Notes! All students are encouraged to participate in this exciting endeavor by submitting their original works for us to consider including in our inaugural issue.

The selected theme this year is Rooted. Submissions should reflect this theme. We want Field Notes to reflect our students' creative reflections on this theme from any of the following creative mediums:
- Writing (fiction, non-fiction, poetry, etc.)
- Art (painting, drawing, mixed media, sculpture, etc)
- Photography
- Even original musical compositions!

All submissions should be sent to [email protected] by NOVEMBER 1st so we will have time to judge and make the final selections for inclusion.

We are excited about this new endeavor and will need your help to cultivate healthy roots that we hope will grow into something beautiful.  We humbly ask your help in generating excitement and participation, encouraging students to reflect on this theme to the best of their abilities through their entries.
