A total of forty-nine St. Michael students have been recognized as “Scholars” by the College Board on the basis of their A.P. exam results. Of these:
“We’re very proud of our students,” says St. Michael principal, Faustin Weber. “To put these numbers in perspective, we were a school of just 325 last year, with 149 combined juniors and seniors—so 49 Scholars represents one-third of all our upperclassmen. We think this success reflects the commitment and expertise of their teachers—not just those teaching the A.P. classes, but also teachers in their sophomore, freshman and middle school programs. Most importantly, the scores reflect the willingness of our students to stretch themselves and to work hard. Bravo to them, and to everyone who helped prepare them! “
